This is why journalists need to do follow-up questions & push on issues. We see it with him at the top; we see it with now former DHS Sec. Noem; we see it with SOD or SOW Hegseth; we see it with AG Bondi; we see it with Dir. Patel; etc. They say stuff just to BS or push an agenda.

Gov. Cox rushes to sign final-hour GOP bid to sink Prop 4 signature removal efforts Gov. Cox signed a bill early Saturday morning targeting Better Boundaries' effort asking Utahns to remove their signature from an initiative that seeks to end Utahs gerrymandering ban.

Better Boundaries is continuing its efforts, and the group Brave Utahns Rapid Response Network held a “Signature Removal Party” Saturday at two Cottonwood Heights locations.

"For the next phase of my career, I look forward to some independence and finding new spaces to share my work in line with my personal goals."

Today, the Prime Minister, Mark Carney, spoke with the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam. Prime Minister Carney reiterated his friendship and solidarity with the government and people of Lebanon, as Lebanon has unwillingly been drawn into the current conflict in the Middle East. In particular, the Prime Minister expressed support for the clarity of the decision taken by the Government of Lebanon to outlaw Hezbollah and Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Prime Minister Carney reiterated Canada's position that Hezbollah must immediately cease its attacks on Israel and called for all parties to de-escalate and respect Lebanese sovereignty and territorial integrity. He expressed his support for the United Nations (UN) Interim Force in Lebanon and called on all parties to respect the safety and security of UN peacekeepers. As a long-time partner of Lebanon, Prime Minister Carney committed Canada's humanitarian support to Lebanon and the wider region as needs rapidly increase.
