It took me ~20 years to hack my ADHD brain into actually finishing the laundry in one day. I now ask Alexa to remind me in one hour to move my laundry over as soon as I hit the start button. It works! My laundry gets done! Does it make it out of the dryer? No guarantee.

Just got back from a baseball trip to experience the Brewers ballpark for the first time and can I just say, I was NOT prepared for the barrel song??? Iconic, honestly. Great ballpark experience. Dodgers continue to lose but the vibes were some of the best I've experienced at an MLB game.

All in all, I wish we were collectively smart enough to not fall for it. It's using hype to appear supportive of local independent music without actually solidifying the foundation of what allows a local music scene to be sustainable. (3/3)

I've been scratching my head about why it feels so icky. I try to be really reflective about where my feelings come from. A lot of times when it comes to music, it's out of envy. But in this case, I don't really feel that. The whole "sold out" marketing schtick comes across as exploitative IMO (2/3)

"Sold out" should signify high demand and support for the artists performing. Here it just signifies that a corporate-owned venue successfully gave away all their free tickets.
