Life has been hard, I decided to have an Earth Day party at work, especially since I love nature so much. I am not good at creative projects. I’m impressed with myself that I made this cake. Earth cake with candy rocks on the inside and on the tray and a red hot heart. It was a good Earth Day. 🙂❤️🌏

Had a fantastic night at High Noon. Two bands I’ve never heard before, and I love them. Brother Elsey, and Arts Fishing Club. Midwest based but in Nashville now. Go check them out live if you have a chance!

I just read a good book about Cyprus in 1974 and spans to the late 2010s. How did I not know about this conflict? There’s always constant war all over the world. And now I fear the U.S. is at war with itself. I’m terrified and it breaks my heart. 😢💔 (p.s. the book is “The Island of Missing Trees”)

Have you tried the winter over on? I really like that one. When I was traveling in Michigan, it had just come out, and I got some. They should have it around here now, though I would think.

All right, I take it back. I really like the Electric State. But I’m still gonna watch out for robots in the future.

Oh good. On top of being worried I’m going to lose my job as a federal employee, now I have to worry about student loans also. 😫

It is so unbelievably stressful being in my career field right now. And the biggest part that frustrates me is that it’s taking away from the mission of why we do what we do where I work.

I think the biggest blow right now for me is the national parks. I haven’t gotten to explore hardly any of them. I don’t know what will be left after the next four years. Nature is the one thing that consistently gets me through hard times. I’m devastated. 😢

Yep! I’m way behind on a lot of things especially the Star Wars series shows that are on. But I decided to just start watching this one, my office mate really liked it a lot.

It is so utterly exhausting trying to stay afloat and not drown when things are terrible. I do my best to bring joy to people and try to stay positive. But right now things are just really freaking hard. 😢💔

NCIS: Origins, love it so far. This most recent episode breaks my heart. Our veterans deserve better than they have been given. Especially Vietnam era veterans. 😢 I’ll keep on fighting the good fight for our veterans.

Tonight’s random movie: Borderlands… so far rather silly. But again that’s just what is needed right now. I love Cate Blanchett’s short, fiery, red hair, she looks great with it.

Along the same vein, Independence Day 2 is ridiculous. But I love it.😆

The only thing that gets me with all the Jurassic movies I’ve watched, when are they gonna learn? Stop messing with dinosaurs you dummies. 😆

How did I not realize that there’s so many Jurassic Park movies? And Dr. Alan Grant and Dr. Ellie Sattler are in one of them.🤩 Right now, anything to distract me from the shit show that’s going on is what is needed. This dinosaur movie certainly will do the trick.

I think one of the reasons I love and I’m very close to many of my friends is that a lot of us are spicy ND. Which means we understand each other better than a lot of others might. And we still remain friends even if we maybe don’t always see each other very often, and that’s the best part.

I had the pleasure of seeing my friend Vanessa T perform tonight. She’s basically a jack of all trades and wears many hats. Tonight, she performed her comedy routine and I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. My face hurts from laughing so much. If you get the chance to see her perform, go!

I would very much like to come pet your fluffy kitty cat sometime. Ginger boys and black cats are my two favorite kinds of cats. 😻

Finally got the Kwik Trip “lip balm”, reminds me so much of Lip Smackers. 😆

My life did not turn out how I thought it would. But I’m happy nonetheless. If I had had kids though, I definitely would hope they be musically talented and artistic in someway. This is super rad that your kiddo is doing this! Music and the arts in general are so important. ❤️
