You ever just, when worldbuilding, elaborating on characters in your PMD story, kind of "discover" that there's a character who despite not being the main villain, turns out to actually be really, really evil?

Or is that just me? (source, brainstorming my story recently)

I gave myself a deadline of November recently. It was one of my system's idea, to try and shake me out of the deadlock.

Even in my most self-indulgent ideas for PMD stories, i write my proxies getting dismissed a lot i MAY have problems ^_^;;

i do keep over-worrying about preparing because im terrified i won't be good enough, especially in comparison to like, the amazing stuff in this scene...

It's been so long, I've lost their save, forgotten their names, their team, but wherever they are now... it all started with here.

I know PMD means a lot to you & you worry whether you're as "good at proving it" as the other humans. But, you've got people who care so much about you. Even if you didn't shine on their level as a superstar. You still shine. I know you do. Even if fewer people see." The Tepig awakens to cry. Dork: "I don't have anything... not good or finished anyway"

Being immortal characters I may have poured a fair share of experiences into, these three are key players throughout the history of my PMD world, their presence felt, in varying degrees, across my versions of game stories, and moreso in my original stories! I'm just, attached & passionate about them

Once "Jirachi", Wish Maker Al'i facilitates many a person's desires.

"I was created by my parents, to make ANY wish or whim come true. People have such lofty wants, but when they go wrong... I just want to make people happy, without incurring their wrath. I'm not your scapegoat, but a friend."

Once "Celebi", Time Weaver Alys monitors time, preparing for danger.

"I was created by my father, to shoulder ALL the responsibility to keep time intact. I've seen in timelines, anyone can change, but not everyone will. I still fix time, but now on my own terms. I'm not your servant, but a helper."

Once "Mew", Life Bringer Amui observes Pokémon build their lives on Earth.

"I was created by my mother, simply to prove she COULD make self-replicating life. I've seen my progeny at their worst. But I've also seen them at their best. Seen both in myself too. I'm not your experiment, but a person."

My apologies if you're just watching for the pretty art. ^_^; I do plan to deliver on more of that, just on my own pace, haha.

But ahh, this is my zone for like, what PMD means to me emotionally, what I see from it.

I feel, I want to get that across in the PMD stories I wish to tell. Strength isn't always perfect competence. But much like the gameplay, when you fall, you come back to try again.

Something that hits me in PMD is, you've got the fate of the entire world resting on your shoulders. Sometimes that weight is too much. But that you keep going, even when it breaks you.

You gotta keep going, for the world, in the story. And in life, for YOUR world (your friends & loved ones).

drew me and my friend puppy's pmd sky teams because its funny that we both have shinx and vulpix considering our protags were swapped

I feel yeah, it is a tricky line to walk, esp. the longer the story, the more pronounced it gets (& PMD stories can get loooong. pmdfan passion reaches such lengths b/c we love pmd omg!)

I am hoping what I came up with, with how my MC is still "other" even thru the end, walks the line to my liking.
