That’s a slow feeder bowl. There’s no way even close to 5 cups fits in there. In fact, the owner is taking efforts to keep their pet healthier and avoid bloat.

Which, if I were a science fiction writer, means I’d make a world of detached heads that somehow function without all the body part organs. If I only have a head to keep alive, in theory, that’s less parts to degrade and so human life could be REALLY long.

Today I was thinking about my brain and how it’s weird that I can tell my thinking is coming from my head. Like, it FEELS like it comes from my head. So even before we had science it was obvious our thinking wasn’t happening in our leg or stomach or something. Weird.
