I've already changed it in-game to a version of this but actually sending them suggestions and encouraging them to pin it down is an interesting idea!

I asked again for an explanation and this is how they answered. I've asked how to lodge a formal complaint several times as well.

I wonder why they can't provide details — could it be that those details would make them look bigoted or like they kowtow to bigots?

I asked Marvel Rivals to explain what was offensive or inappropriate about my username multiple times, after having it for over 8 months and using it on not only their platform but other services as well without issue. This is their answer.

My username for the game has been "queer-time" since I started playing in Feb. That's my username for other platforms. It's never been an issue until today.

This was clearly automated from a complaint and so was the support email response.
