I saw a beautiful tripod censer, and tried to recreate it. I think it came out rather well :D

Sea urchin inspired incense pot. Used the glaze at my teacher's studio called ice blue, which resulted in a gentle purple colour.

The mudskipper and limpets to help wash the paint brush. Love how this turned up, and it's very useful.

A bowl. One of the basic pieces I built using the coiling method. I chose the floating blue glaze, but it wasn't thick enough to show the blue colour. Glazing is tricky!

During my hand building course, my pottery teacher gave me a task of creating a two-plate set that can stack. And this is the result.

This was meant to be a container in the shape of 'umibozu' a large head emerging from the sea. But the glaze didn't drip as I hoped. It looks like the Iron Giant instead, so I guess it's ok?

Stoneware rabbit. Most of the other pieces of pottery I made so far are functional, but this one is not. It was made using a pinch pot technique.

The cat is a gray-brown tabby with subtle hints of blue, red and yellow on different parts of the fur patterns. The background is a gradient of blue and grey-green. Fine details of whiskers and fur are painted with a fine brush.
My friend's cat, Hue. I thought I messed up the painting by using too many colours, but I think it turned out well, giving subtle colour variation to her very interesting coat.
