Trying to live up to othersβ expectations of who you are never works out well.
Surrender or Radical Acceptance is the key to nurturing equanimity.
Embrace it.
Try not to judge your path by observing other paths.
Keep going towards that which is clear to you.
There might be obstacles along the way, but each has a lesson to be learned. Don't fear them. Learn and move on.
Let your thoughts flow without attachment.
When we hold thoughts too tightly, we limit our ability to acquire new data, and quickly fall into the shadows of expectations, judgments, and opinions.

We waste so much energy, so much bandwidth by holding on to anger and grudges.
Be free. Let go. Forgive.
The most important tool we possess to aid in self-mastery is The Pause.
Use it whenever you feel uneasy or triggered.
It works. It's that simple.
When we realize that events are just events, that we label them as βgoodβ βbadβ and other views merely as a function of a dynamically changing mindset, we can embrace true equanimity.

17.12.2024 01:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Learn to limit your expectations.
