This is Luke. He was hit by a car, crushing his back leg and fracturing his shoulder - both on his right side, making it very difficult to walk. He's in pain and needs urgent surgery to fix his broken bones, followed by rehab. You can help him below ❤️‍🩹

Okay. Our foster dog, The Professor (shelter name Bean), is up for adoption. He's cute as hell. Love having him around. He's in the office with me now. He's fun, weird, and very affectionate.

It's time once again for my annual #treebybike post. This is the 12/19/42 cover of @newyorker.com, so one full year after the attack on Pearl Harbor. This would be the first real Christmas alone, or without a family member, for millions in the US. Gas and tire rationing had begun earlier that year.🗃️

Flame is doing great! At 12, she still has a 5-foot vertical and can jump any fence. She says it’s because she eats a lot of bread.
