Outside of a clinic in North Mankato slated to close in December, the DFL organized a rally Friday highlighting Republican cuts to Medicaid and the ACA, which party chair Richard Carlbom says will lead to more hospital and clinic closures and rolled back services.

I got involved in politics because I wanted to help improve people's lives—and I know that's what drives many Minnesotans too.

We'll create a rapid response war room to deliver messaging, tools, and clear action steps to local leaders, volunteers, candidates, and activists–engaging more communities and elevating voices that resonate with voters.

Many voters are conflicted. To build trust with people that walked away from our candidates in the last election, we'll have deeply relational conversations with voters.

We can't wait until election year to organize. Our party will start organizing earlier, especially in Greater Minnesota and communities that are too often the last to receive attention.
