The most annoying people you know will dislike and throw shade at everything before it comes out and tell you it's all garbage. While in the same breath they play and watch and listen to their preferred brand of slop (that is just as bad) but they like it, so it's not bad.

It's what I've been working through. People in my life who I thought were cordial, we weren't. I know that because it's been a one way street for years. Apologies, reaching out to make amends, all fall on deaf ears. If your friends actually care, they will reach out or respond.

Don't dwell on the people who have given up on you. Fuck em, they didn't care about you in the first place. Hang out, support and be with the people who didn't leave. Who don't ignore you. Who respond back. Who didn't chase the bag and leave people in the dust for some checkmark.

And I'm a shitty person, I understand that. But I never explicitly or on purpose, hurt those around me or bailed on them or left because they don't provide me "number go up" value. Which hurts more. Being ghosted or told no to hangout asks over and over and over by your "friends."

Streamers and content creators aren't your friends. No matter how much you care about them, you will never be in their 2-3 person core they already have. And if they do include you and make you feel like you're homies, a few years later when they get "fame," they'll leave. :)
