90 years ago it started with the gov’t rounding up foreigners, people of color, Jews, Poles, and others who were “impure”. Then they convinced neighbors to spy.
We wondered how people could have let this happen.

Somehow fitting. The new trend is to ignore character, values and decency. No longer a consideration for anything, evidently. We are indeed in the midst of the decline...
