Such a weird moment when you see something related to you in a museum. First time it happened to me was at the Beaulieu Motor Museum with a mate and they had a bus that we'd travelled to school together on.

Serial adopter of retired greyhounds. Retrofitted a 1970s ex-council house with solar/batteries/heat pump/EV. Keen home cook.

Why have you asked this person their opinion of a film that they deliberately planned to miss the end of? Why on earth would anyone do that?
I don't know... Jordon Brompton is rightly proud of the amount of decent jobs MyEnergi has created in Hull. I'm not any sort of policy wonk but surely government could do something to encourage more of that sort of thing?

17.02.2026 19:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Quick question - please repost for reach - how often have your local water company been out to fix leaks at your meter/stop tap? It's probably directly outside your front door or maybe at the end of your garden/drive and they'll have had to lift slabs or dig into the ground.
17.02.2026 19:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Perfect name for him. Reminds me of my last cat George, who also would have fitted the name very well (not at the computer hence no photo, just to head off the picture tax demands).
17.02.2026 18:20 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Hello from the UK! Where we're seeing loads of Chinese EVs on the roads. They're not early adopter stuff any more, they're mainstream. I'm interested in cars but sometimes I see a brand I've never heard of before in the wild. Efficient cars are cheap to run, that's what people want.

16.02.2026 08:45 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Of course it was only a theory then, surely we'd never have enough computing power for companies to calculate that price for everyone...
16.02.2026 08:36 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0When I studied economics nearly 30 years ago this was taught as a theory; that every individual had a price they were willing to pay for a specific product. I was used as an example by the teacher; I would be willing to pay more for a Fairport Convention record than anyone else in the class.

Likewise, 2nd year think (year 8 now), in a boys' school. We thought it was unrealistically grim.

Excellent bento for lunch at Taro in Brighton today 🍜

My presentation skills haven't improved but that Valentine dinner was delicious. Not even boasting, most of it was down to the quality of the meat. Don't think I've ever had a steak that tender. 🍜
