Back to school now so will struggle to draw for a bit but it's nice to see things like this: my Holy Trinity, Barrow upon Soar print up in a living room.

Couldn't resist! Drew the beautiful Parish church at Rhuddlan, North Wales, while on holiday. Attended Sunday service half way through doing this which was a nice ice breaker. Such a friendly congregation who told me all about it (700 years old). #stmaryschurch #Rhuddlan

Next, colour 😍

Wow. I did a lap of the church and spotted what must have been the leper squint... fascinating!!!! It was one of those churches that made me want to touch the stones.. the history was palpable. Thank you 🙏

The little video I made today. This is church number 99 for me! Can't believe I'm almost at 100 churches, all drawn fully from life in my summer holidays. What a pleasure and a privilege this project is ☀️🙏☀️

All Saints church, Kimcote (near Lutterworth) today. Only used a 01 unipin for this one which has given it the look of finer detail I think. Loved looking up from the bottom of the hill.

Finally got to draw another one of the churches I see on my commute to work most days! St Mary in the Elms, Woodhouse (what a lovely name) was great to stare at for a couple of hours. Delighted to meet the vicar too as she came over to see me and made me feel very welcome.

Loved loved loved this corner viewpoint with the church room building, rustic wooden cross leant up against an old tree, stunning doorway and tomb. It has everything!

Made a whole video about starting this one as I was all on my own, not a soul to be seen. St James the Great church, Birstall, Leicestershire. Number 94 of my drawing challenge!

St Stephen the Martyr church, Woodville, Leicestershire (well, Derbyshire but part of Leicester Diocese so a bit confusing!). Lovely new Norman architecture (apparently). Circular building especially attractive 😍

Finished! Another really enjoyable day out drawing from life.. nestled in between foliage and gravestones I kept nice and cool on a gorgeous sunny day. Great to be on top of things and free to get out and do something so relaxing and peaceful.
