Oh I KNEW someone here recced it! It was SO fun. (And made me so hungry omg!!!!!) lovely line level writing and such a fun premise!!

It’s a tough process, I do get it.

I know it’s tough for people to receive feedback, but I also wish that wasn’t taken out on me 🥴

Unfortunately I’m now a little nervous any time I see any kind of reply now 🥴

I hope this may give some context as to why form responses are necessary on my end.

I used to periodically try to offer specific feedback on projects (in addition to the form letter) but I will not be sending personalized feedback on initial queries for the foreseeable future. I received such an abusive response at the beginning of the year that I will not be risking it anymore.

I receive over 200 per week on average and the only way to get back to everyone is to use a form. The same letter goes to everyone, no matter the project.

I’m cross posting here as well re: #querying

I just want to clarify for everyone that my pass on query letters is a form. I take a lot of time to thoroughly review materials, but unfortunately I cannot personalize a response for each query.
