There's a difference between Ukrainian anarchists joining the state military because there's no better option and someone publicly arguing about how supporting state militias is compatible with anarchism.

Whining about "tankies" in order to support fascists who are openly calling for genociding Kurds is really something.

That's why Ukraine should have negotiated a deal when they had a stronger bargaining position. Unfortunately, the Biden administration prioritized prolonging the conflict to benefit the military-industrial complex rather than pushing for a settlement.

The war can be stopped by a ceasefire.

The Turkish opposition is literal Nazis dude.

But what if Russia never gets defeated? Are you planning on sending arms to Ukraine for eternity?

Do you also support the US sending arms to the Ukrainian military unless Russia is defeated?

A better comparison might be the parent-child relationship. Just like pet owners with their pets, parents "love" their children, but that love often masks a deeply unequal power dynamic.
