Before last month I’d never seen Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. It was the only one in the franchise I’d missed.

Now I’ve watched it 3 times in 10 days. To say I’ve found a new comfort movie is an understatement. Maybe it’s because I’m a new dad but this film brings me so much joy.

It’s less overwhelming and it seems like we’re all collectively enjoying ourselves?

Just watched Immortals for the first time the other day. Can’t say I knew what was going on some of the time but my lord what a stunning picture.

The 4th of July is a holiday just for movie marathons. Stop shooting off fireworks and just project Days of Thunder into the sky.

Finally caught Dial of Destiny. I enjoyed it a good bit and I adored the final act but I think it’s the weakest of the series. The whimsy and adventure that Spielberg brought just couldn’t be replicated, no matter how good Mangold is.

Still a fun and fitting end for Indy.
