I heard about a killing of a Black man in DC by US marshals on a call from someone in the neighborhood then saw it confirmed by the organization @harrietsdreams.bsky.social & here. A Black man in DC was killed by the state today. Make the same noise for him as for anyone else when we have his name.

The house I grew up in was right on RT66 in Devil's Elbow, MO! Favorite summer entertainment were the classic car tours and Boys/Girls club trail rides. I live in Collinsville, IL now, still near the mother-road. I'm glad it's being celebrated.

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.

BB has worked very hard to make Israel=Judaism, when it very much is not. Doing this on purpose means he can shout antisemitism, when the world calls him out on his human rights abuses. This conflation hurts the Jewish community worldwide when hate crimes occur as a result of BB's deception.

My brain has the capacity for so much nuance that it's getting in the way of having good relationships with some of my Jewish friends. They can't seem to grasp the idea that BB has leaned into the negative AS tropes (ie controlling everything) by pumping money into US politics through AIPAC.

I'll believe that when the state and local police actually stop helping ICE kidnap people.
