Taxing wealth is NOT socialism. It's realism. A wealth tax (or other other similar options) is not about increasing revenue, it's about defending our future from those trying to steal it.
We have to get out of this cycle and look to NEW leadership to fix this problem.

The ultra wealthy literally have run out of things to do with their wealth, so they seek to own and control everything. Assets like housing become even more scarce and prices continue to rise.

So, unfortunately, the collapse of the economy for working people will continue. The cost of everything will continue to rise and the super wealthy will continue to buy up everything that we all need to survive. The have no choice.

Republicans use issues like immigration and culture wars to distract us from what they are really doing, which is destroying the middle and lower classes by siphoning their wealth away.

The Republicans want to continue to transfer more and more wealth away from the middle class to the very rich. So even more tax reductions for the wealthiest people. It's the opposite of what the vast majority of Americans need.

Democrats say they want to do things like lower rent and the cost of food and healthcare, but are actually clueless on how to do that. They are not looking, or at least avoiding, the root cause.

Both parties are completely wrong with their strategies for making the economy work, but for different reasons. Democrats tried investing money in jobs and infrastructure. That worked for vastly improving the economy on paper. But it caused wealth inequality to skyrocket and most Americans lost out.
