I thought the interesting bit from that was Chris Ruddy completely debunking the rupture between Starmer and Trump, and admitting the USA launched into this without really consulting allies.

Thank you- your FT reporting and analysis is very good. In this age of disinformation and pushing political agendas, the FT seems to stand virtually alone amongst mainsteam media in presenting a balanced view (might even run to a subscription soon!)

Interesting listening to Any Answers-- so far more or less 100% support for the government's position on the Iran war re defensive support only. The right wing media and parties are very misaligned.

I believe its the press and right wing parties who are opposing, Listening to Any Answers- almost unanimous support from callers. There's a complete misalignment between (most of) the press and the public

So, in launching a huge bombing campaign on Iran they apparently didn't plan for:

- Who takes over;
- Interceptor shortages from sustained drone retaliation;
- How to defend US bases in the region;
- Threats to ships in the Strait of Hormuz; and
- How to evacuate Americans with airspace closed.
