Eee, thank you! He's definitely a prototype, but I am very happy with him. :D

The market rate does seem to be about twice what I paid, which is cool! I'll give it a few days to see if anyone bites on a trade first.

His name is Ariel and he keeps me company through the day. :D

His head and feet are sculpey, and he's built from wool batting around a copper wire armature. I cannibalized an ugly pillow cover for the fake fur!

I'm planning to make a second version using a more resilient clay for the thin bits.

So anyway, if anyone out there has the rising star or the tattoo artist, specifically, I'd be happy to trade.

NOT ONLY is there no way for me to turn a stupid frilly maid outfit into a tight tanktop and loose, flowy pants, but I'd feel guilty if I tried, because it's rare and I know there are probably people out there who really want it. If I paint his dumb pink hair black, I'm going to *angst* about it.

Ladies and gentlethems, I got the chase.

So long as I didn't get the chase doll, I'd be happy. The chase doll is a dumbass catboy maid, whereas all the others have pretty cool outfits that I could work with. And what were the odds I got the chase doll? Literally 1 in 72, it says so right there on the page. I wasn't going to get the chase.

So it wasn't a huge leap to look at those relatively cheap BJDs and think about customizing them. In fact, a lot of them are already halfway to looking how I envision Sid, the main character of my fantasy WIP, to look. I figured I'd take a chance, buy one, and have it lined up as a future project.

I can absolutely imagine Dick working so hard to come up with a routine that looks nothing like his normal Nightwing moves, perfecting the moves, and then wondering how late ng he has to wait afterwards to start using them regularly anyway. XD

He'd absolutely kill at rhythmic gymnastics though, wouldn't he? XD
