Needless to say it's a struggle. It doesn't even completely go away after he rejects Bhaal. Sometimes when he closes his eyes the blood is there again.

He gets more control of it by the end of Act 2 and into Act 3, but it's a constant struggle of trying not to give in the impulse to hurt those he cares for, especially Astarion. There are nights where he has to walk away and stay awake to keep everyone safe because if he lets go for one moment...

Lysander's brain is a mess in Act 1. He's got the tadpole in there, all the damage from Kressa and Daddy Dearest. It's all blood, guts, gore interspersed with flashes of the better things all overlapping until it's red red red red. He's a mess. Most days it's all he can do to stop himself #tavqotd

Rook is associated with Marigolds. His mother calls him that because of his hair, which he inherited from his father, and his middle name is actually Calendulas. In some cultures Marigolds are associated with remembrance as well as resilience, warmth, loyalty, and strength. #tavqotd

In game Rook primarily wildshapes into an Owlbear with the default coloring, however in my personal canon he prefers to either wildshape into a smaller red wolf, red sable or red river otter. His wildshape coloring always matches his hair so he's pretty recognizable even in animal form. #tavqotd
