We have to push against individual instances of both racism and ableism. We have to fight against institutionalized racism and ableism. We have to recognize when we mess up and can do better. Then we have to try to do better.

We (white people who identify as anti-racist and anti-ableist) teach others to be racist when we passivey let racism go unchallenged in both big ways (institutional) and small ways (individual).
