RCR had an eventful race at Michigan International Speedway as the 07 and 3 managed to have clean races while the 29 was snake bitten on pitroad

A rough performance for myself and the entire 29 team during today's race at Michigan. The car was looking pretty good early on in the race, but my pitcrew had some huge problems that took me out of contention for a good result. We definitely can't afford any more problems heading into Daytona.

Finally! It wasn't a matter of if, but when @joogiewatkins.bsky.social would find victory lane this year. Stewart Haas hasn't been this competitive for a long time, so now the question is: can they fight for the regular season championship? We know the Welshman has what it takes, but does the team?

@joogiewatkins.bsky.social now leads with 5 laps to go. He has nothing but clean air in front of him, the cars behind him are on inferior tires, and the next driver with tires as good as him - @noahknight.bsky.social - is bogged down by traffic.

He may finally get that first win of the season.

@camryenthusiast.bsky.social enters today in a slump, having finished no better than 27th in the last four races. The #15 team has tumbled all the way down to being just 21 points above the cutline, and seriously needs to pull itself together for a strong finish today to stop that backslide.

This is about the biggest lead anyone's built today, but will it last? @noahknight.bsky.social leads by 2 tenths over @joogiewatkins.bsky.social coming to lap 8/20.

@troxell.bsky.social did a great job defending, but @noahknight.bsky.social will not be denied! The defending champ takes the lead and invites @joogiewatkins.bsky.social to pass the #43 as well!

@troxell.bsky.social is sitting a comfy 2nd in points right now, nearly 100 points above the cutline. His place in the playoffs is pretty much guaranteed, but @noahknight.bsky.social's is not. He sits -41 to the cutline and desperately needs a string of good results to put himself in the fight.
