even "furry" is better as fantasy than reality. being covered in fur all the time but having human type needs and expectations would be miserable. you would always be hot and having to pull hair out of things, getting clean would be difficult and you would be much more cognizant of bad smells.

stuff that makes fantasy fun often makes reality miserable, which is why we only PRETEND it exists. This is especially true with punks, cyber or otherwise. Actual punks just gang up to pick fights with people that they think are weaker than them. a good fantasy hero clobbers endless arrays of punks.

one good thing about the past near-year of dealing with this, i am no longer afraid of the inside of the computer, and know what sort of inexplicable errors can be amended easily. although possibly this one being from 2014 makes it less dangerous than a newer computer might be

that is before the heat sink was put back in place, since i need to unscrew and turn it over before i can mess with the thermal pieces, but indeed it should look less ugly than that!
