My last grandparent passed today (I didn't like the guy, I'm not busted up about it).
What's strange is that I knew three of my great grandparents. It adds a context to the concept of posterity. My kids won't have that. Weird thought.

The spiderverse movies are artful. There's passion in them. Most comic book movies now are just formulaic rehashes of the same tropes with a thin coat of Whedon comedy and oversaturation designed to mimic artistic vision.

I sometimes think about how we were in the middle of the last wave of bands that actually had a local following in the scene. The hometown metal promoter kinda stopped putting together the showcases all the bands played, so the scene kinda died not long after I left for college.

Got beat and bullied my whole time in school until I switched districts, went to high school, found other metalheads, fronted a metal band at the height of our local scene, and the scene legitimately loved us.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales went to PC 2 years after its release, and God of War took just under 4 years. I'd think it'd get a PC port reasonably quickly, especially since the rest of the series is already ported.
