You are absolutely correct. It was political. I love that he did it, and retroactivated it so that the incoming admin can't go looking for old "crimes" to charge him with.

Yup. I am terrified to make any kind of plans, and do everything pretty much last minute, on a whim. Because, if I've got the energy to do it NOW, I'm going to do it. Otherwise, there's no telling when I'm going to be able to.

I have a love hate with my body. I love that my body is here, that it feels and (mostly) works. I hate that, despite being only 45 years old, it works about as well as am average 75 year old body.

I had never thought of using alt text to pretend I'm an ally. Oof.
I'm horrible about not always doing my alt, but when I do, I think of two friends who use screen readers and have complained often about lack of alt.
