Queen’s academic 'incredibly moved' by prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry award win A Queen’s University senior lecturer has been honoured with a major education award from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

Congratulations to Dr Kevin Morgan who has been named the winner of the @rsc.org Excellence in Higher Education Prize.

He received the prize for his sustained contributions to making #Chemistry and #ChemicalEngineering more engaging, accessible, and relevant to society.

Queen’s first UK university to train students on spotting signs of domestic abuse Nursing students at Queen’s University Belfast will be the first in the UK to receive specialist training on domestic abuse and violence against women and girls as part of their degree.

We are the first university in the UK to train our Nursing students to spot signs of domestic abuse and violence against women and girls.

The training is part of a pioneering programme,The Unlock Safety Initiative.
