In Scotland, 1 in 8 men will develop prostate cancer. A simple blood test at your GP surgery can help identify early signs of this condition and get you on the road to recovery.

Today I met with Charlie from the Edinburgh & West Lothian Prostate Cancer Support Group at their pop up in Asda Livingston to hear more about the important awareness work they are doing around prostate cancer. They are there until around 4PM today so please pop along and have a chat.

Food Standards Scotland has opened a public consultation on how allergen and ingredient information is provided by food businesses in the non‑prepacked sector, including restaurants, cafés, takeaways, bakeries and butchers.

This Saturday I’m hosting an International Women’s Day event in Bathgate, bringing together a range of local organisations to share the amazing work they do to support women in our community.
