WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.

A diagram showing different black bass species

Suwannee bass is one of at least 14 species of black bass - though we’re still discovering new ones (news.uga.edu/new-bass-spe...). Members of this group are mainly native to North America east of the Rockies, but have been introduced globally due to their popularity as sport fish #25DaysofFishmas

I would just add that some of these folks, like Chatterton Williams, get paid not for their clarity but rather for their willingness to muddy the obvious. Some pundits entire job is to make things harder to understand.

Datacenters in space are a terrible, horrible, no good idea. There is a rush for AI companies to team up with space launch/satellite companies to build datacenters in space. TL;DR: It's not going to work.

an important read for at least 2 reasons:

1. shows how big tech operates on intuitions and vibes and not rigorous research

2. this is a masterpiece in how to breakdown complex scientific concepts in simple language and elegant pros that captivate the lay reader

The #25DaysofFishmas calendar with Florida Gar on December 3

It’s time to hang up the holiday GAR-land πŸŽ„

Move over Florida Man, it’s Florida Gar’s time to shine!

On Day 3 of #25DaysofFishmas, we head down to the Sunshine State to find the Florida gar (Lepisosteus platyrhincus), an ancient-looking fish whose appearance hasn’t changed much since the Mesozoic

β€œI trust my immune system. I don’t need a vaccine.”

Ok, I trust mine to protect me too. Which is why I trained it extensively on what the virus looks like so it can handle it.

Remember if it was capable of β€œrevolutionizing” art, film or music - it would’ve produced something of cultural value already.

Instead all its made is endless piles of derivative slop because that’s all its capable of.

Obviously yes! Most Americans speak Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages and don't live in the US so it'd be weird to call them that

Just a gentle reminder that everything we're thankful for is due to the grace and help of others and, for many of us, a heaping dose of unearned privilege. None of us has ever truly done anything on our own.

Who we are is often the result of the emotional labor of teachers, parents, and mentors.

Green Card Interviews End in Handcuffs for Spouses of U.S. Citizens

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

If a politician:

-Has never cared at all about whales before;

-Is in the pocket of big oil, an industry which has a financial incentive to oppose alternative energy;

and

-is a well-documented liar,

You don't have to take their "we have to stop offshore wind to save whales" claims seriously.

DOGE no longer has β€˜centralized leadership’ under White House tech team, personnel head says The team that was altered to house DOGE β€” formerly the U.S. Digital Service β€” is also still doing its own technology work across agencies.

The "DOGE is gone" articles are clickbait but this one gets it closer to the truth: DOGE is not gone, it just claims to have "no centralized leadership" anymore -- in other words, its leadership is hiding in an attempt to avoid blame.

For the record, the turkeys appear to be fairly ordinary broad-breasted whites. This breed, notably, cannot reproduce naturally because the way they've been bred for lots of white meat prevents their bits from lining up.
