A nice Spanish crime drama, based on real events, where we see an investigation from three different perspectives. The first half drags a bit with a bit of melodrama but it slowly improves into the second half.

Stories within stories in this film that revolves around a tobacco shop. Beautiful, heartfelt and almost poetic film touching upon a disappear culture with a splendid cast of then well known and others up and coming who are now famous talents.

De Niro seemed to be pushing his luck taking on two roles where the face prosthetics was distracting and the roles felt like he was channeling the characters from Goodfellas, his and Pesci's.

Honestly, fans of the first installment can do without this film as it adds nothing of substance to the original. Yet going ahead with it, viewers are likely to get a nostalgic piece to its characters while having tons of cameos for entertainment.
