WA tour day 46 We returned the hire car, in the morning, and then did some shopping in Perth. In the evening we went to the opening event for Perth Fringe.

The beach is empty probably because of the tons of seaweed

WA tour day 41 trip around the beaches northwest of Exmouth. It is too hot with the temperature reaching 46c and the flies are everywhere. Spent the evening eating fish and chips at the beach before a turtle hunt. All I found was a crab!(pic 3)

With crystal clear water the snorkelling was great with a large variety of fish

Unable to climb up to Shotholes due to crumbling rocks and closed pathways. This was the best I could get!

Striking rock formations all around the canyon but with the temperature at 46c. I was not climbing

WA tour day 40 Heading further north to Exmouth via Coral bay and Shothole Canyon

WA tour day 39 A day of relative relaxation in Carnarvon and still we managed to visit the Gwoonwardu Mia, Space Museum and the Heritage Centre

WA tour day 38 after a boring drive to Carnarvon with little to see or do a couple of sunset pictures before a nice Lamb Shank dinner in the Sails restaurant

WA tour day 37 Started with a lovely encounter session at Monkey Mia, a trip into Francois Peron Park and a sunset dinner in Denham

Inside the roadhouse was like taking a step back to the 50s

The boardwalk was destined almost 4 years ago but time doesn’t matter around here!

The sand at Shell stretches for miles and at low tide you can walk in the sea for a mile and still stand up

WA tour day 36 The drive north continues from Geraldton to the Billabong roadhouse. Then onto the Stromalites at Hamelin, Shell Beach for picnic lunch and finally Denham.

The only drop of water was at drain overflow but otherwise a beautiful spot

WA tour day 35 The drive north continues with a short stop at the Salt lake at Leeman then onto Geraldton. The museum at Geraldton was a lovely find and I enjoyed the 3D trip over Kimberly. The cathedral was small but beautiful

WA tour day 34 The drive north begins with a relatively short drive to the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park and then an overnight stop in Cervantes
