We need every victim to feel safe and supported to come forward - and I welcome the steps being taken to make that happen. 👇

Deeply saddened by the passing of Acting Detective Sergeant Matt Burgin-Powell.

His dedication to protecting others and serving Suffolk with compassion is an inspiration.

My thoughts are with his husband Luke, his loved ones, and all his colleagues at Suffolk Police.

Today, we remember those who gave their lives in service to our country, honour those who returned carrying its burdens, and thank the men and women currently serving at home and abroad.
