A welcoming, free space for anyone affected by cancer.

Bury St Edmunds SEND school and centre of excellence approved The centre will provide 90 places for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Really welcome news for Bury St Edmunds!

This new SEND school and centre of excellence will give young people aged 14–19 the specialist support they deserve, and help strengthen inclusive practice across our local schools.

Hundreds turn out for Bishop’s enthronement at town’s cathedral A town’s cathedral was packed with more than 800 well-wishers and church representatives from Africa for the enthronement of the area’s new Bishop.

On Saturday, I was honoured to attend the enthronement of the Rt Revd Dr Joanne Grenfell at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

Today in Bury St Edmunds, I was honoured to speak at the Holocaust Memorial Day service at St Edmundsbury Cathedral.

We remembered the 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust and all victims of genocide. Remembrance matters - it’s our shared responsibility to carry it forward.

Government to end cancer postcode lottery for patients People living in rural and coastal areas will find it easier to see a cancer specialist as the government works to end the postcode lottery for care.

Ending the cancer postcode lottery matters.

Where you live shouldn’t decide how quickly you see a specialist. More doctors, better tech and earlier diagnosis will save lives and tackle health inequalities.

This is a vital step forward.
