I haven't had any time to write and I still have so many things to do, but I swear that when I'll be back, I'll write it 🫠

I have this idea that's been in my head for so long. Hermione is a healer, and Draco is a kind of gang member or smtg like that. And after the war, they reconnect and Draco keeps showing up at her window all bloody and injured, waiting for her to heal him and they flirt (duh.)

Though neither of them would admit it out loud, they both had to concede that this little war between them wasn’t entirely unpleasant.

But his pride wouldn’t let her have the last word so easily.

“Granger!” he called after her. “If you wanted to make me lose my head and fall for you, all you had to do was ask.”

In the dim light, with her back half-turned to him, he still caught the way her eyes rolled and the faint smile-

With that, she strode into the stockroom, resolute in her mission to carry out her inspection uninterrupted.

Fred, far from angry now, simply watched her in silence, a mix of amusement and fascination flickering across his face as he took in this new side of Hermione Granger.

The nerve of her! She was using his own tricks against him? Wicked witch.

Pocketing her wand, Hermione walked past him but paused at his level. Now eye to eye, she let out a low, mocking laugh and said, “I warned you.”

-really look at her. Then, she muttered a spell under her breath, and before Fred could process what was happening, he found himself hanging upside down. Helpless, he could only watch as she sent stink bombs and endless ropes flying toward him.

“Come on, Granger... I know you. You wouldn’t dare,” he taunted, the smirk still firmly in place.

“Oh, really? Then you don’t know me as well as you think,” she replied, her own smirk curling her lips.

She held his gaze, tilting her head slightly and arching a brow, as if daring him to really-

His train of thought was cut short when she suddenly raised her wand and pointed it at his chest. His eyes flicked down to the wood pressing into him, and he let out a soft laugh before meeting her gaze again.

The silence stretched, the tension between them practically humming in the air. Still leaning forward, Fred noted the way her cheeks flushed, though he couldn’t quite tell if it was anger—or something else. He wasn’t sure.

Her eyes narrowed, and her voice dropped to a low, threatening tone. “Fred. Move.”

Just to annoy her further, he leaned in even closer, folding his arms as he bent to her level. A smug smirk curled across his lips.

“Make me.”

“You know exactly what will happen if you don’t let me do my job,” she said, her voice sharp.

He raised an eyebrow, leaning slightly closer, his gaze flicking over her again before locking onto hers.

“Go on, then,” he said mockingly. “Amuse me.”

Fred knew her well enough to recognize that expression anywhere. Hermione Granger was already plotting her next move. Fred couldn’t help finding it both infuriating and oddly fascinating. Not many people got to witness that look up close as often as he did.

Fred crossed his arms and positioned himself directly in her path, blocking her way.

“Oh, really? And what if I say no? What are you going to do, huh? Run crying to your little Ministry colleagues?”

She shot him a withering glare, her lips tightening.

Hermione rolled her eyes, biting her tongue and holding back a sharp retort. She knew exactly why she was here and intended to see the task through.

“I’m here to make sure you’re not selling anything illegal. Again,” she replied, stepping closer to the counter, determined to inspect the stockroom.

His gaze swept over her from head to toe before he leaned lazily against the counter.

Neither of them spoke, and Fred wondered how long this little standoff could last. But his time was precious.

“Granger! Back for your little weekly inspection?”

-to avoid “catastrophes.” The perfect little Ministry employee, Fred thought to himself.

Still facing away from the door, he could practically hear her tapping her foot and grinding her teeth, even without looking. Taking longer than strictly necessary, he finally turned around, slowly.

-and annoyed—ready for yet another “inspection.”
Since their latest invention—a prank collection based on hypnotizing someone with a secret word—Hermione had become a regular visitor. According to her, someone needed to enforce both the moral and legal boundaries of Fred and George’s creations-

The shop bell chimed, and a sly grin slowly spread across Fred Weasley’s face. Without even needing to lift his head, he already knew who had just walked in. He’d seen Hermione Granger storming toward the shop through the window, fists clenched and her expression equal parts determined-
