For people who have never seen this… About nine years ago, some people made three 3-minute Coyote cartoons and they are awesome…

I just finished reading Richard Parks’s story collection β€œTroubled Spirits”. It was a short book, but his tales of Lord Yamada are always a pleasure.

Star Trek on MeTV tonight… A Federation colony is attacked by flying pancakes.

Reading a collection of Richard Parks’s more recent short stories about Lord Yamada…

She didn't tell to eat cake, as far as I know.

Oh, you mean Elon Musk… Well, lots of people were fooled by the muskrat… As for hindsight, it’s always 20/20…

In movies? Yes, it looks like. She’d done tv work before this.

What does this refer to?

Maybe it did better with Blockbuster rentals…

Reading Clevinger & Wegener’s later β€œAtomic Robo” graphic novels. Two down, two left to go… β€œThe Dogs of War” has Nazi superweapons and Robo foiling their plans… β€œThe Shadow from Beyond Time” has Lovecraft, Charles Fort and Carl Sagan helping Robo fight an entity from outside the Universe…

I have never walked out of a movie, but I cam close to it with "Highlander 2".

As with Star Wars, the successful movie was made by people who grew up on a stew of stories that became part of their life’s souls. The imitators based their β€˜work’ on that, not on the source material.
