Story idea:

A princess obsessed with living her own storybook romance, and she falls in love with the neighboring kingdom's prince.

But that prince is actually a girl forced to live her life as a man to solidify her place as heir.

Comedic political chaos ensues.

This became the ramblings of a mad man, but to circle back to the original point..

I feel like breaking up the monotony of my main cast's fighting abilities with a mage or two would only make sense!

But for a story where each character represents each one of the seven deadly sins, you kinda have to have all seven of them.

This is by no means me complaining about it, but merely commenting on something that I've actively had to give thought to during the concept process.

Sometimes you can get away with combining character concepts to condense your cast.

I really like that method because it feels less like I'm sacrificing something that could have potential, and instead am just building on what I already have.

Typically I like to avoid huge casts of characters, but it's unavoidable for this story. One of the reasons for avoiding them is making sure that each of those characters feel important / impactful and are unique.

Something I'd been back & forth on for the setting was the inclusion of magic.

At 1st all the characters had magic, then I removed magic entirely, then I added divine magic & now I'm debating adding magic back but only for a few characters to make it feel more special.

I've been thinking about my novel while I've been stuck in bed.

It feels nice to be inspired again.

Anyways, I only brought them up because they've both been eating away at my brain the last few days..

I wanna work on them so bad, but my life has been so hectic lately that I haven't gotten to do any writing.

But I'm excited about them none the less.

The 2nd series will be referred to as "CO".

It's a modern BL that I haven't decided whether it'll be Slice of Life or Drama, but will be in a setting that revolves around Music.

I was going to have the characters be Idols, but now I'm considering making them a band instead.

The 1 that's furthest along is a Fantasy story with Action & Romance subplots.

If you catch me referring to "BoaBH", that is the series I'm talking about.

I'm working on the character concept art for it rn.

I'll be sharing more about this series before the end of the year.

I have 2 webseries I've been slowly working on for a while.

1 is officially ready for me to start writing.
The other is still in its concept note stage.

I'll probably continue to work on both of them at the same time, instead of focusing on just 1.

Some days the words flow endlessly.

Today is not one of those days.

This was my exact fear when I decided to try writing scripted YT videos.

I'm having fun working on it! It's just.. painfully slow some days when my brain refuses to cooperate with me.

Drowning myself in my hyperfixations is the only way I'm mentally surviving at this point.

The true writing process:

Write the thing
1 sentence doesn't feel right
Rewrite that sentence
Whole paragraph still feels off
Rearrange the order of sentences until they flow better
Decide that it still isn't good enough & rewrite whole paragraph

Repeat for the entire project

Currently designing Ryn, my masc persona!
He's a ghost and likes lazing around and pulling tricks on people.

I'm startin with a basic track suit for quick doodles
but I wanna design some other outfits that are more detailed later

I feel like my curiosity is too strong to drop things, especially that soon.

I think 5 chapters is pretty reasonable tbh.
I have a bad habit of pushing forward even if I'm disinterested because I'm holding out for a twist or hook..
idk if I have it in me to commit to 300+ chapters tho unless I'm invested LOL

How many chapters do you read in a webcomic before you decide to drop it or not?

I just read a pretty underwhelming comic in its entirety because I kept telling myself that it had to get juicy soon because it was only 49 chs, but it just never did.

I need to learn to DNF...

I just had the realization that I could write a story where the characters travel across alternate universes...

It's so simple, but other than using AUs for my vtuber lore Idk why it never occurred to me.

What a perfect excuse to write for multiple genres all at once!
