I actually snagged a good one, it's got all the fancy settings on it and is in good shape

To be fair though, cassettes are only remembered to be poor quality because most consumer-grade electronics sucked and the tolerances of the parts would drift. Non-dolby, misaligned tape heads, worn out capstans and pinch rollers, *shudders* type 1 tape.

I'm trying to fix up several walkmans now, so I'm trying to sink some attention into this. And money, can't forget about money.

communists and socialists want to replace the car but they can't agree on a brand.

Nazis want to burn the car for funsies because they think the brand is owned by Jewish space lizards above the flat earth's dome.

Republicans are convinced the car doesn't work because the driver is gay.

Libertarians think the problem with the car is the number of wheels it has, it's using too many wheels. If they can just knock 3 of the wheels off it'll run much better than it ever did before.

Imagine the US government is a broken car.

Democrats think the car's engine needs to be fixed but can't decide on how to do that, and instead of replacing whatever part needs fixing they slap some duct tape on the hood and proclaim it fixed.

Still, it's been hell trying to be myself in the face of living with people who actively think that I'm like of the devil because I'm not straight. If anything it only shows their own ignorance and personal ugliness and it's not a pretty sight to behold up close and personal.
