I was in Cranston, N. PVD and Central Falls today to check in with municipal leaders and public works teams. As a former mayor, I know how much coordination it takes after a storm like this.

We’re bringing in mutual aid from states across the region to support local recovery.

DMV update regarding road tests:

Commercial and motor vehicle travel bans are lifted as of 12 PM today.

If you must travel, use extreme caution on local roads.

Local parking bans remain in effect—please check with your local community for updates.

Historic storm for RI—the Blizzard of '26 surpassed the Blizzard of '78.

Plows and utility crews will be out in full force until the job is done.

State offices are closed until Tues. at 4:30 PM. State of Emergency and travel ban remain in place.
