My first day throwing in my outside space this year, working on new mortars and #pestles, an unfamiliar neighbor passes by and SCOLDS me for making *ahem* plugs in public.

Match them to normal bowls with a split. To hold the cheese and crackers. And pickles. Dunno whether it’s German or Nordic background but we always have a bowl of pickles for family events.

Chex mix? Cookies. Cheese crackers and wine.

Here we used a #woven net of some sort to apply orange underglaze to a basic brown bottle. It really takes it to another level!

Where do we get nets like that? Anywhere. Old doilies. Fruit bags from the grocer. Garden supplies.

One of the best things out of a recent glaze firing is this #pear shaped glass. The glaze melded perfectly and I adore it.
