I miss my friend who lived next door for a glorious moment and who has been taken away by circumstance.

I miss my work friends who don't seem to be anywhere near here anymore.

I miss my friend who understood my deep cut references, who was incredibly thoughtful and loyal but also might have been a serial killer, idk.

I miss my friend who ended up actually being my cousin the entire time and we didn't know until college.

I miss my friend who was always like a harm hug on a cold day. As comforting as pajamas and hot chocolate who never seemed to get the love she deserved but was always happy to see everyone.

I miss my first friend who I met outside of circumstance and became friends by choice. Who thought I was funny every time I opened my mouth. Who I went to every movie with and was always mistaken as a couple. Every fucking time.

I miss my friend who was a neighbor who I didn't get along with until we became best friends.

I miss my oldest friend that I met at a kindergarten dollhouse who was always more of a sister to me than my actual sisters.

I miss my friends.
