Really pleased to see this HSSIB report published - we've come a long way in the last decade to try to emphasise how much fatigue affects healthcare delivery in the NHS, and how under-recognised this still is
Hopefully this helps encourage further action

We should be able to "decommission" recommendations because some go out of date and are succeeded by others over time, says @hssib.bsky.social chief Dr Rosie Benneyworth at the #ThirlwallInquiry.
"We need to be able to say: 'This recommendation is no longer relevant. Let's stand it down'."
New data from the Association of Ambulance Chief Executives shows ambulance services are on course for the highest rate of reported incidents of violence against staff. Our Chief Executive, @rosiebe.bsky.social, responds: www.hssib.org.uk/news-events-... #WorkWithoutFear

Well worth reading the full report and recommendations: www.hssib.org.uk/patient-safe.... Timely in relation to current legislative efforts. I know our local Trust is trying to work on this but national capital constraints are a huge issue and MH has been pushed down the queue for capital funding.
