he's currently feeling the drowsiness but he's fighting it.

the fridge is fully stocked by food. like the ones you see on restocking videos but on the smaller size. ]

[ like i said don't blame him. he just got a good catch of one fish so he felt happy on the small achievement ]

[ he cursed out and had to grab hold on the counter to steady himself. hijiri had to lean over franz while he drinks, feeling his own energy downing ]

[ hijiri still grabs himself a glass so he can pour himself a drink. ]

i had the place cleaned as much and made sure your tracks weren't left there.

[ the bartender thinks you're cute! that's amusement.

he leaves hisoka be and walks to talk to his other patrons and server their drinks again.

everyone else just chatters amongst themselves, some way to wasted, the others look like they're full of life.

[ gai was in the middle of packing everything, as it's twilight alright, when he sees the siren again.

the burning interest that's on his mind since last night, sparked again. his curious gaze lands towards the siren's figure ]

[ hijiri pauses his cooking, putting a cover on the pot so the scent gets enclosed. he looks up and greets franz ]

currently holding a fishing rod (he borrowed) loosely on his hands. gai has been curious of getting a new hobby.

and fishing had seemed like a practical escape, something tangible and quiet to occupy his thoughts.

yet, as he stared at the water, it wasn’t fishing that filled his mind ]

so he leaves...

and he came back again next sunset.

his pants have been rolled up, shoes have been taken off as he gazes through the waves lapped gently. gai’s gaze remained fixed on the horizon, where the sun dipped low, kissing the sea.
