Something to think about. My therapist and I have talked about ADHD for me. It doesn’t seem like the case for me but I definitely have a strained relationship with focusing on things, especially when I’m stressed. And I also suffer from chronic anxiety. Wishing you the best, FFD. You’re not alone.

I’m not a medical professional, so I can’t say whether or not you show tendencies for it. I’m just saying this because a few people in my life recently got diagnoses for different attention deficit conditions, and with these diagnoses were able to put a lot of their lives in order and feel better.

So glad to hear you’re finding some clarity in this. Sharing with others who have similar struggles will definitely be helpful. Also, and I don’t wanna be presumptuous, but have you explored the idea I’ve seen a psychiatrist to discuss ADHD and similar attention disorders?

Oh you should definitely play Tooie if you find the time, if you liked the first one well enough. Some people think Tooie is “too big” and there’s some credence to that. You’ll sometimes have to do a lot of back and forth for one collectible but if you like that sort of thing it’s great.

Like I wasn’t expecting to care about the writing at all, but whoever was writing Kazooie’s lines snuck some good ones in there. I didn’t feel the need to 100% this like I would the other games, but the controls and platforming were fine. It never got frustrating except maybe the final boss.

It’s predictably much smaller in scope. But there’s Jiggys and Jinjos to collect, and new moves to learn. The environments aren’t particularly interesting. And the premise that Grunty went back in time to stop the pair from meeting isn’t really used. But I still got a few laughs from dialogue.

Banjo-Kazooie is one of my alltime favorite games, and Tooie isn’t far behind, so this was a fun curiosity for me. No reason to play this if you have access to those two, I suppose, but as a curiosity to see how they out that formula on a GBA, it’s really interesting. Not bad considering.

I forgot to put this on the list from a few weeks ago. Bet a lot of you never heard of this, but there was actually an official B-K game on the Gameboy Advance, a top-Down platformer. Found it recently at a convention and gave it a try.
