Issue in most of downtown bike paths. Daily occurrence where vehs are on the bike paths. One time this truck followed me at least 2 blocks until veering off into a sidewalk. Found out they were from out of town. But still no excuse in missing the brightly painted signs and lines on the road. /S

#yegbike I’ve been blessed with great MUP clearing on 91 St from Summerside to DT and 66st from Summerside to Millwood LRT. Thanks to the clearing crews.

But watch out for patches of unpacked snow on large ruts. I’ve wiped out a few times this week.

Tried riding from Summerside to downtown. Didn’t quite make it. Going to put up with the bus for a few more days.

Absolutely this. So much unused indoor space downtown that can be converted to this.

That’s 20 yards, 60 ft. When I drive, pedestrians *always* have the right of way. Having a green light doesn’t mean that they don’t have to be careful and look around. Situational awareness is lost for most drivers these days.

I think a bit of thinking outside of the box is needed. We've had back to back snow, freeze, thaw cycles. Priority 2 & 3 roads wait-days were stacked up. Day 1 snow, wait 10 days, day 3 snow, wait 13 days...some roads not getting plowed for a month.

I think it could be better if they get ahead and clear the slushy snow melt before they freeze up.

91 St MUP from Ellerslie rd to Millcreek clear with patches of smooth ice. Bring skates. Attach pontoons to cross intersections.

Studded tires highly recommended.

This exactly. Don’t blame us for inaction. Back to back snowfalls don’t mean waiting until the last snowfall or thaw to start plowing residential roads.

Good news. 91St MUP from Ellerslie Rd to downtown is clear! Even the intersection islands have been cleared.

66St from Milwoods TC to Ellerslie Rd is clear with a few rough crossing areas/islands close to mall.

Ledcor decided to salt the 91St & 66St overpass across AHD. It's not slushy and SLIPPERY! Be careful.

Sadly, MUPs on 91St - AHD to Millcreek and 66St - AHD to Millwood TC are in poor condition. Passable, but bumpy ride.

Yeah that's how I felt going across the 91St and 66st bridges across AHD. Temps were plummeting fast too.

Riding on 91st and 66st MUP not recommended. Lots of accumulated lose snow. Unless you like slipping and sliding. Took an extra 1h in my commute pushing and shoving bike across AH bridges.

Goggles for sure (if I have those anti fog ones) and snow pants most definitely. Also heated gloves. Stay warm.

So many close calls these days. Everyone is on a rush. Be safe out there.

I've using this contraption all week. It's from an old fleece jacket. Seems to help maintain charge.

Remember to let your battery warm up in room temp before charging after a cold ride. Store battery in room temp to maintain battery life.

Wheee! 91St MUP from Summerside to Downtown almost all clear. Edwards Dr - AH section is super slippery. Whitemud to Millcreek not cleared but packed. Crews did an excellent job overall. Slushy everywhere. Safe rides everyone.
