Also I like the idea of circling the aspects of my own headspaces.

Other ways to try littlespace:
-Take a bath! Toys + limited electronics, maybe play some kiddo music.
-Take a walk and listen to childhood music. Optional plushie in backpack. Stealthy!
-Go someplace like a toy aisle, playground, Build-a-Bear, etc. and see what feelings you wish to explore.

Vocalizing really helps me enjoy the moment, definitely recommend!

I thrifted a plush of him a few years ago! Apparently there were outfits you could buy for that plush as well, it was super cool.

And even while just experimenting, unsure if you'll achieve the headspace you want, you should ALWAYS have something to look forward to after the headspace. For me, it was one of my favorite TV shows that I enjoy as an adult (Star Trek) but the point is that you don't get sad when you "grow up".

Imposing restrictions on myself was handy too, especially without a Caretaker in the picture. Stuff like "no phone", "no swear words", etc.

Once I got my walls down, I was playing and giggling and having a great time! The high lasted maybe an hour, give or take, after the build up.

To expand on releasing my inhibitions, here were my specific goals:
-Say every silly thing that I wanted to say, that I might not deem worthy of being said around others
-Allow myself to play pretend, dance, play with my toys, etc.
-Allow myself to enjoy what others may judge

I put on kid shows, 1 or 2 episodes of each series, starting with shows that were easy to watch and/or meant for older kids. And I'd take out my toys.
(I often would start with Hilda or Little Bear, then Pokemon or Sonic X, then the target show that I really wanted to get into, like Power Rangers.)

Since I see people ask for help getting into Littlespace, I figured I'd write a handy dandy thread about what has worked for me.

When I first got into it, I chose 1 day a week, Fridays, when I knew I would have a few hours home alone. I had a single hard drink to release my inhibitions.

I'd totally get merch based on these. I'm a non-DL Middle and I want in on these cool characters!

Dang there were so many of those at Buy Buy Baby when they were closing down. I managed to find mine while thrifting at a Savers, for under $5. Thankfully stuff like that is super easy to sanitize.

It would be hypocritical of me to say I don't understand being noncom in this context, when I may or may not fit under a couple of labels myself that I just kinda go "meh" about. 😅

I trained myself to access littlespace when I had regular time to myself for a few hours every week. ...maybe I should make an informational thread about it cuz I see people ask about it a lot and I feel like I had a good system for it.

Tough choice! I would totally sport merch of Tuffy or the dragon if that became as useful of a subtle flag as a Peekabu hat.

I have had success exploring ways to be stealthy Little, like listening to my Walkman with a childhood cassette tape in and going for a walk, maybe with a plushie in my backpack. Or learn how to let a little bit sneak out to make socializing more fun without outing yourself.

Keeping a plush on your desk is super lowkey. Lots of folks like plushies, and it can be passed off as kidcore. Honestly part of why I feel comfortable being so open about being Little is that it's mostly just kidcore + headspace. Like I was just explaining to a coworker about my plushie collection.

Aww. I've made some local Little/babyfur friends by being open about it and sometimes someone notices and talk to me about it, especially if I wear like a Peekabu hat to a furmeet.

Stayed up late playing with my Buzz Lightyear action figure. Had him approach my stuffed animals to pet them and loudly announce "I AM BUZZ LIGHTYEAR" etc. to each of them. X3

I found that out recently and was surprised! I don't think it was quite rhat expensive when I got mine around 2019, but still. She's, uh, not in ideal shape anymore, though I do wash her and brush her hair from time to time. I'm a side sleeper and she's perfect for me.

Yes! Someone had a whole bunch of the big floppy g3 ponies at a small pony collector meetup a few years ago, selling for $3 each because they took up so much space and they just wanted them gone. Even had a 25th anniversary Pinkie Pie (like what was in a Transformers movie?)

LPS and Strawberry Shortcake (classic and 00s for both) were among my favorites as a kid. ^_^

I regret letting mine go because I figured she looked close enough to Moondancer that I could reasonably just keep one of them.
