When you apply for a copyright it should be something you certify. AI generated works cannot be copyrighted. But its honor system.
If I indie publish again I’ll put one of these on the cover

Sorry for the mope. Feeling discouraged and isolated.
But that publishing company went under and I’m back to square 1. self-published it to stay in circulation. No sales.
I worry that this next novel (in 3rd draft ) will not go anywhere and that I’m just fooling myself.

But 20 years later, NO ONE seems to have come up with it and the appetite for the concept may be stronger than ever. Geez, I think I’ve gotta finish this thing, if only to shut myself up about it.
