Hot take: a lot of professionals already might qualify for an employment-based visa and just assume they donβt. EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 arenβt only for βexceptionalβ people, the criteria is more nuanced than most think.

What you canβt do is give up because of fear or uncertainty. This wonβt last forever; your determination matters more than todayβs headlines.
Just a reminder going into 2026: despite all the fear and noise around immigration, people are still getting green cards, work permits, and citizenship every day. Itβs more doable than it feels. Donβt give up!

If Trump can announce a βgold cardβ where you pay $1M for a green card without changing the law, what stops a future Democratic president from creating a much cheaper version? Why wouldnβt the same principle apply?

USCIS announced a 3-year expiration on biometrics.
Your fingerprints donβt change, but now applicants will need repeat biometrics appointments anyway.
More steps, more delays, more hassle for immigrants.

Last week our office saw visas issued for two Iranian parents, even though, under the current ban, those visas shouldnβt have been approved. They werenβt part of any exception. Just a reminder: donβt give up. Keep filing and showing up. You never know what can happen.

One of the biggest moments of my career:
USCIS canceled my clientβs naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!
Major immigration changes are coming, new public charge rules, possible processing freezes, and more restrictions. Filing now could protect you from future rule changes, while waiting might close doors.
Are you filing now, or waiting to see what happens?
Live tomorrow at 10 AM PST, weβll explain the big news: U.S. suspends green cards for 19 countries. Who qualifies and who doesnβt?
Tune in if you want clarity on this immigration shift: www.youtube.com/live/CwhQsKe...
This could create years-long delays. Strong cases might turn to mandamus; weaker cases could benefit from extended work permit eligibility...

03.12.2025 17:40 β π 8 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0Trump is hinting at a new immigration crackdown:
β Total travel bans
β Extreme vetting
β 60-day deadlines for βdeficientβ countries
We donβt know which countries yet β but if you think yours could be affected, donβt travel right now.
More details coming soon.

ICE is arresting people at their marriage green card interviews, fully eligible, no criminal record, just to meet quotas.
Cruel, pointless, and meant to scare people away from their rights.
Donβt let fear stop you from fighting for your green card.

If youβve used food stamps, Medicaid, or similar benefits, even for your U.S. citizen child, your green-card application could be at risk under the latest DHS proposal. Itβs not law yet, but the landscape is shifting.

Please stop trying to bring your spouse to the U.S. on a #visitorvisa
It wonβt work, and it often creates bigger problems, delays, wasted money, even misrepresentation issues that require waivers.
The safest path is always the proper family-based process from the start.
If you finished your naturalization interview, USCIS has 120 days to decide (itβs in the fine print on the N-652). If they donβt, you can go to federal court and force a decision.
Youβre not stuck, you have rights!
A woman came to me after her lawyer told her not to file a lawsuit for her delayed visa and to βjust wait.β
Sheβd already been waiting a year, alone and frustrated.
We filed a Mandamus, and a few months later, she got her visa.
Sometimes, βjust waitβ is the worst advice...
