Old person here, that is Linus the Lionhearted and Sugar Bear. Linus was the mascot for a Post cereal (can't remember) and Sugar Bear was the mascot for Sugar Smacks, another Post cereal. This is probably from their short-lived cartoon show in the mid or late 60s?

Putting aside the Temu-Schönbrunn aesthetic, that room would be a nightmare of echoes and trapped sound. Filled just 1/4 way and it would be near impossible to hear anyone in there. Add a sound system and it would cause any sound engineer to leap through one of the many windows.

I was curious about the architecture firm designing the theoretical ballroom, so I went to their website.

The demolition company is Aceco, the name is right there on the machine. It's a demolition company based in, I seem to remember, Maryland. Their website was down for a while and they stopped answering calls.
