Senior military leaders are, overall, very smart

Nearly all are broadly experienced, around the world. They have spent their careers in orgs more representative of the whole US than most corps, law firms, finance firms, univs, media orgs.

They have learned to judge character. And honesty.

You guys how is this their launch email? HOW?????

Apparently, inflation is bad, but we must impose tariffs to raise the cost of cheap imports so people buy expensive American goods. We can re-shore manufacturing, but to be cost competitive, we have to fully automate factories, replacing American workers with robots.

Sitting here with COVID (which I had on my 40th birthday 2 days ago πŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌπŸ‘ŽπŸΌ), thinking about how much I hate this timeline.

Honestly, it's easier to just have your head in the sand these days.

We in the press need to do some real soul-searching over our failure to talk more about Biden’s memory lapses. In the meantime, we’re going to completely ignore Trump’s obvious advanced dementia and even more obvious personality disorder.

Harvard today, your institution tomorrow.

It's all part of the Project 2025 plan to destroy high education in America.

All leading US universities depend on federal funding and tuition dollars from international students. They severely curtailed the former. Now they're eliminating the latter.

This is the stuff of authoritarian regimes. There isn't even the pretense that this is anything but persecution, unbound by law.

America's ability to recruit top talent from other countries is one of the most important things keeping us a superpower in the world. Like how is this not extremely obvious to literally everyone? WTF.

The simple truth is that Trump believes that, if we send money to a county in exchange for stuff, we've just lost because now they have our money
