Yes, hence the usual map with entire states colored red or blue. But if you want an image that shows how people actually voted, each vote would be red or blue, making every state purple, with some a little redder, and others a little bluer.

Of course each red dot can represent either a Trump margin of .1% or 75%. Shades of purple would be paint a different picture.
